History

The Living Documentation Event was established by ICT Improve (Part of ICT Group) in 2020. What began as a niche initiative has grown into a widely recognized conference, created by the community for the community, bringing together professionals passionate about living documentation, collaboration and quality.

Over the years, the event has evolved alongside the growing adoption of living documentation practices. It brings together practitioners, tool builders, and thought leaders from across the Netherlands and Europe.

In 2026, the Living Documentation Event enters a new phase. While the organization of the conference continues under a new setup, it remains firmly rooted in its original version. Together with our Founding Partner, ICT Improve, we build on the success of five previous editions to take the conference to the next level. With fresh perspectives, new voices, and the same commitment to high-quality, collaborative software development.
