Panel Discussion - AI as a 4th Amigo

The most popular application of LLMs in tech is to have it generate code. But what if – rather than using it to build the solution – we use LLMs to explore and map the problem space? Would it be possible to leverage LLMs as:

• a fourth Amigo in a BDD session
• a discussion partner during refinement
• a proxy stakeholder or Subject Matter Expert
• a way to test the consistency of your Domain Specific Language
• a support in sharpening and structuring specifications

During this panel discussion, we invite you all to pick at the brains of our panel members on how LLMs can help (or hamper!) teams shape requirements, explore behavior, and clarify domain knowledge.

To explore these questions, we have brought together a panel with diverse experience across software development, quality, requirements, product engineering, and AI transformation:

  • Johan van Berkel – Trainer and Consultant, ICT Improve
  • Rick Tracy – Process Optimizer (Quality Lead), Hapalion Consulting
  • Gomathi Ramalingam – Director of Product and Quality Engineering, SIMBA Chain Ltd
  • Antony Marcano – Principal Coach/Consultant, RiverGlide
  • Boudewijn van den Berg – Systems Engineer & AI Transformation Lead, Philips IGT-S, Interventional Applications

Together, they will explore the opportunities and pitfalls of bringing LLMs into the conversations that shape software before a single line of code is written.

This is not a conversation about AI as a magic solution. It is an opportunity to look critically at how LLMs can become part of the way teams explore requirements, discover behavior, and make domain knowledge explicit.
